Concealed Media recently caught up with NC’s own hit recording artist Fatt Sosa to talk about his upcoming project, growing up in the church, working with some of the biggest artist in the industry, appearing on 106 & Park, and much more.
A native of the small town of Angier, NC, Sosa credits his love for music to the time he spent in church growing up. When he first appreared on the music scene Sosa was more of an R&B artist and you can still hear it in his music today, his style is mix between R&B and the trap music sound that was developed in the south.
Although he did make waves as an R&B artist it’s clear that Sosa made the right decision. Since making his debut as a hip-hop artist Sosa has worked with Rick Ross Jim Jones, Camron, Gucci Mane 2 Chainz, Pooh Shiesty, Moneybagg Yo, and countless others.
When discussing his success and what it takes to make it in the music industry, Sosa said it’s all about being consistent and putting in the work. “In this business once you start you can’t take no breaks,” he said. Sosa said what makes him standout as an artist is his versatility and having the ability to switch up his styles.
